With it, a lot of people tend to imagine while sailing and as they sail on, no one could really push the rush of adrenaline as waves push over the boat and as the sea gives a few sprays of water over the faces of each person on a boat. Now, if you were sailing and you are on a race, you would get more adrenalin rush and you would have more than imaginations and water sprays. Actually, whatever feeling of racing on a boat would give is quite unexplainable; though it could assure you it is more than what car racing could bring you. Anyway, the term regatta is used to describe boat races or series of it. The term somewhat describes boats that does not uses power, however, there are cases that boat races use powerboats. Basically, there are two types of regattas—the sailing regatta and the rowing regatta. It is already obvious where the difference of the two lies. Obviously, it is easier to race on a sailing regatta than on a rowing regatta. In a sailing regatta, you would not have to use most of your physical energy, though you would need a lot of intellectual energy because you have to formulate a game plan. In a rowing regatta, all you would need is teamwork and a lot of muscle. We need to note, however, that not all regattas are about racing.
